● There is no worry that needles will be removed from the skin after application. This is because the needles are detached from the backing on the skin after two minutes of application. The mechanism for detachment is independent of the solubility of needles in tissue, so we do not need to make needles dissolve too quickly or become too sensitive to moisture. Our needles are sturdy and resistant to airborne moisture, ensuring that you have ample time to administer the drug-loaded microneedles.
● During application, the loaded API at the needles cannot reach back to the skin's surface due to the unique feature of our proprietary microneedles for pharmaceuticals. Immediately after the application, rapid detachment of the needles from the backing permits the skin to automatically and rapidly reseal (we have researched this natural process on human skin), thereby preventing the API from returning to the skin's surface. These features ensure that the APIs placed into the needles are embedded in the skin for accurate dosing.

The answer is dependent on the country in which you reside, the bioactive you put into the microneedles, the claims made for your products, and the length of the needles on the patches.

Few of our pharmaceutical products have cleared the proof-of-concept stage of clinical testing for human safety and efficacy.
